I have been an organisational development and process consultant for 20 years, during which time I have worked with a wide range of organisations, teams and individuals. Out of that work came my interest in coaching as a process and I started coaching in 1994.As a move to understand more about personal transformation and psycho-social health, and to be able to work at depth clinically, I trained as an Integrative and Humanistic Psychotherapist in 1997 and completed my MA in 2005 having set up my Psychotherapy practice in 2000. I also had a one year, honorary, appointment as a psychotherapist in the NHS, for one session a week. In 2008 I commenced training in systemic constellations and over the last two years have focused on working with trauma, learning from Professor Franz Ruppert, and on the meaning of illness, with Dr Albrecht Mahr. I have continued to combine working with organisational and leadership development with working therapeutically with individuals. In my organisational work I work primarily in the NHS; most of my career has been in and around healthcare as a clinician, manager and educator. My first professional training was as a general nurse, then I trained as a teacher before returning to the NHS as a manager. Prior to leaving the NHS, in 1991, I had a national responsibility for education and training.

I am a Director of Anaptys Ltd, which provides Executive Coaching, Organisational Consultations and Group Facilitation to corporate enterprises. Anaptys Ltd is an approved centre by the Institute of Leadership and Management to provide Executive and Management Coaching programmes . www.anaptys.co.uk. I am a Professional Network Fellow at the Centre for Leadership Studies, University of Exeter and as part of that lead and contribute to several Leadership Development programmes within the NHS.

I am an APECS Accredited Executive Coach and Coach Supervisor with the Association of Executive Coaches and Supervisors, APECS. www.apecs.org. I am also a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
